Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Numbersaurus is operated by GOTOES LIMITED, registered in England, company no. 16658520. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@numbersaurus.com.

The short version: the first week is free and takes no card, so there is nothing to cancel unless you subscribe. After that, cancel whenever you like, and if Numbersaurus is not right for your family, ask within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it.

1. The 14-day refund

  • You can have a full refund of a subscription payment — the first payment or a renewal — if you ask within 14 days of that payment being taken.
  • This mirrors Paddle's standard checkout buyer terms and sits alongside your 14-day cancellation right for digital services under UK consumer law — using the service during the 14 days does not cost you the refund.
  • After 14 days a payment is not normally refundable, but your statutory rights still apply: if the service is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, a price reduction or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, whatever this policy says.

2. How to get a refund

Either route works — use whichever is easier:

  • Email hello@numbersaurus.com from (or mentioning) the email address you subscribed with, and say you would like a refund. Nothing else needed — we will not quiz you.
  • Or go through Paddle, our merchant of record, who took the payment and appears on your card statement: use the receipt Paddle emailed you or paddle.net.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, processed by Paddle — typically within a few working days of approval. A refunded subscription ends when the refund is made.

3. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal — monthly or annual — and no further payments are taken.
  • You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for; no part-period charges are added, and (outside the 14-day window above) no part-period refunds are given.
  • Cancel from the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt email, from the account area in the app, or simply email hello@numbersaurus.com and we will do it for you.
  • Your family's players and progress are kept after cancelling, so resubscribing later picks up where the children left off. If you want the data gone too, the Privacy Policy explains how deletion works.

4. The Practice Promise

We only charge while a family is practising. If no child on your account plays for 14 days in a row, we take no further payment. We email you first, then pause the subscription, and we start it again on the day a child plays, with an email to say so. An annual subscription with no practice for 14 days in a row does not renew. A pause is not a cancellation: your players and their progress are kept, and nothing is charged while the subscription is paused.

The promise is not a refund route. It stops payments that have not been taken yet; a period you have already paid for runs to its end. It is separate from the 14-day refund window in section 1, which is unaffected by it. The full wording of the promise is in section 5 of the Terms & Conditions.

5. The free week, access codes and free play

Your family's first week after signing in is free, and we take no card to start it. There is nothing to cancel, nothing charges when the week ends, and there is no payment to refund. When the week is up, a child can still play four rounds each visit for free. Full-length sittings need a subscription.

The free demo and access-code players likewise involve no payment. Access codes are granted free and may be revoked as described in the Terms & Conditions; no money is owed either way.

6. Price changes and withdrawal

If we raise the price, the new price only applies from your next renewal and we will tell you by email first, so you can cancel before it takes effect. If we ever withdraw Numbersaurus entirely, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
